The art exhibition called "Front Palette" by Oleg Bazylevych at the Khlibnya exhibition hall.
The exhibition is open from February 25 to March 23 at the Khlibnya exhibition hall of the Sofia Kyivska National Reserve.
The works of art on display were created by Oleg Bazylevych during his time on the front line in March 2022 and feature a unique painting technique using earth, clay, ash, and soot. Oleg Bazylevych, who is a candidate of geographical sciences, scientist, artist, translator, and screenwriter, joined the Armed Forces on the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. He served in the infantry in defense of Kyiv and then in the artillery in the Donetsk direction.
The paintings in the exhibition depict everyday life and daily routines of Ukrainian soldiers at the front, along with the beauty of Ukrainian landscapes. The works are full of love for people and the native land and are a symbol of indomitability and love for one's country.
