Happy to announce an upcoming art exhibition called "Front Palette" by Oleg Bazylevych, which will be held at the Hlibnya exhibition hall.
The exhibition will begin on February 25 at 3:00 p.m. and will run until March 16 at the Hlibnya exhibition hall of the Sofia Kyivska National Reserve.
The works of art on display were created by Oleg Bazylevych during his time on the front line in March 2022 and feature a unique painting technique using earth, clay, ash, and soot. Oleg Bazylevych, who is a candidate of geographical sciences, scientist, artist, translator, and screenwriter, joined the Armed Forces on the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. He served in the infantry in defense of Kyiv and then in the artillery in the Donetsk direction.
The paintings in the exhibition depict everyday life and daily routines of Ukrainian soldiers at the front, along with the beauty of Ukrainian landscapes. The works are full of love for people and the native land and are a symbol of indomitability and love for one's country.
The exhibition will open on February 25, and admission will be free on that day. For the rest of the exhibition's run, visitors can purchase an entrance ticket to the Hlibnya exhibition space for UAH 50.
