Presentation of Itamar David Grossman's books "Itamar Walks on the Walls" and "Itamar Meets the Rabbit"
With the support of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine, this year the works of Israeli children's classics are published in Ukrainian for the first time - two books from the legendary series about Itamar by David Grossman: "Itamar Walks on the Walls" and "Itamar Meets the Rabbit", which will be presented as part of the 11th Book Arsenal.
About the author:David Grossman is one of the greatest modern Hebrew-language writers, a living classic of Israeli literature.David Grossman's works have been translated into 30 languages, he won the Booker Prize in 2017 for his novel The Horse Walks into the Bar and was shortlisted for the second time in 2022 for Love More Than My Own Life.David Grossman's children's books have won numerous literary awards, been set to music, adapted for stage and musical theater, and translated into various languages.
Grossman's books are part of the school curriculum in kindergartens and schools in Israel.
