The outstanding Ukrainian composer Hanna Havrylets passed away on February 27th, on the 3rd day of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.Hanna Havrylets is a composer, teacher, music and social activist. Her name became popular in the 80s of the 20th century. Hanna Havrylets represented the modern galaxy of artists in the 21st century. She quickly entered the world of music, impressing the listeners with each of her works, which were characterized only by her live musical intonations, because they carried subtle shades of the state of the human soul. She was immediately noticed both in the field of academic music and in the pop song genre.Hanna Havrylets addressed various genres: from small vocal, choral, and instrumental pieces to large-scale symphonies.It was the vividness of the image, the national identity of Hanna Havrylets' compositional talent that contributed to the recognition and popularity of her work among performers and listeners in Ukraine and abroad. The music of this composer is heard in Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, France, and Armenia as well.
