***Folia is a dance of Spanish-Portuguese origin, from the motif of which comes one of the earliest musical themes known in Europe, the basis of numerous variations.In 1705, Vivaldi's Violin Opus No. 1 was published in Venice, where the last 12th sonata "Foliage" became popular in the Baroque era due to its harmonic formula.
