Dubovyk’s artistic universe of symbols and signs forms the conceptual core of this year’s Kyiv Art Sessions programme.The concert serves as a prologue to the major exhibition “White Bouquet”, presented as part of the Oxford Festival of the Arts. The musical programme is conceived as a dialogue with the artistic world of Oleksandr Dubovyk, where every image, sign, and symbol reveals new layers of meaning.The programme features works by two of Ukraine’s most distinguished contemporary composers:Valentin SilvestrovTriadTwo Pieces: Benedictus (Night) and Sanctus (Day)Kitsch MusicMaxim ShalyginTo All Who Are in LoveTo All Who Have Risen AgainIn this programme, music becomes an extension of Oleksandr Dubovyk’s world of symbols and signs, opening a space for personal associations, reflection, and the search for individual meaning.About the performerAntonii Baryshevskyi is one of Ukraine’s leading pianists, internationally acclaimed for his interpretations of twentieth- and twenty-first-century music and for his close collaboration with contemporary composers.A prizewinner of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, he has performed at major festivals and concert venues throughout Europe and around the world.*This is a charity concert.
