Kyiv Art Sessions concludes its UK season with Symbols and Signs, a piano recital by Ukrainian pianist Antonii Baryshevskyi. The concert programme continues the artistic dialogue initiated by the exhibition of the same name featuring works by the distinguished Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Dubovyk, which has become the central event of this year’s Kyiv Art Sessions season.Performed by Antonii Baryshevskyi, the programme features works by some of Ukraine’s most prominent contemporary composers: Valentyn Sylvestrov, Victoria Poleva, and Maksym Shalygin.

About the Performer:Antonii Baryshevskyi is one of the leading Ukrainian pianists of his generation, renowned for his interpretations of twentieth- and twenty-first-century music and for his close collaboration with contemporary composers.A prizewinner of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, he performs regularly at major festivals and leading concert venues across Europe and around the world.This is a charity concert. All proceeds from ticket sales will support the work of the Voices of Children, which has been helping children affected by war for more than ten years.

*Kyiv Art Sessions is an international multidisciplinary cultural project founded in 2024 by the Dom Master Klass Cultural Center and the Art Shield Foundation. Its mission is to present contemporary Ukrainian culture to global audiences and strengthen Ukraine’s cultural presence on the international stage. In 2025, the project received two SABRE Awards in the Preserving Art in Crisis category, as well as a PR Daily Award.
