Evgeni Utkin, the founder of the well-known Kyiv international Art Festival Bouquet Kyiv Stage and the Dom Master Klass cultural center, received one of most honorable awards of France. By the decision of the Minister of Culture of France Evgeni Utkin was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Arts and Literature L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. He received this award for his personal contribution to the popularization of modern French culture in Ukraine and the development of French-Ukrainian cooperation. This award is recognition of Evgeni 's personal contribution and special gratitudefrom international institutions!
We would also like to remind you about Evgeni Utkin’s support of our Ukrainian culture:
● Establishment of Dom Master Klass cultural center and the international high art festival Bouquet Kyiv Stage, which is a gift to the city of Kyiv;● A long-term support of such iconic cultural projects as GogolFest, the international film festival Molodist , and the Jazz in Kiev international jazz festival.
The classic was probably right when he said that "the great is seen from a distance"... but we have a big hope that already in our time this “BIG” will become visible up close: culture will become a fashionable Ukrainian trend, and Evgeni Utkin will be able to realize his dream, creating one large-scale Ukrainian cultural hub - a place for creative people, where "high technologies and high arts, the right and left hemispheres of humanity, algebra and harmony will be combined"!
We congratulate the Knight of the Order of Arts and Literature Evgeni Utki with the well-deserved award and wish to continue to believe in the great power of art!
L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres is one of France's most prestigious awards, given to outstanding cultural figures. The French Ministry of Culture established this order in 1957 to honor individuals who have distinguished themselves by their achievements in the artistic or literary field or by the contribution they have made to the popularization of art and literature in France and in the world. The order has three ranks - commander, officer and knight. Evgeni Utki became a knight and received the right to wear a badge on a ribbon on the left side of his chest.
