After a successful performance in the legendary Carnegie Hall, the National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata", conducted by American-Canadian conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson, repeated the same programme for Kyiv listeners.
It featured Zubytsky's expressive virtuoso violin concerto, Skoryk's fragile melody, Kozarenko's original Concerto Rutheno, as well as music by Stankovich, Sylvestrov, Poleva, and Almashy's poignant work dedicated to Mariupol - "City of Mariya".
Kyiv Chamber Choir under the direction of Maestro Mykola Hobdych and soprano Maryana Golovko took part in the concert.
The concert was attended by composers Victoria Poleva and Oleksandr Shchetynsky, who appeared on the stage of the capital's Philharmonic Hall to a flurry of applause.
We are extremely happy that Kyiv Camerata, under the direction of Keri-Lynn Wilson, successfully presented the programme at home after a successful tour in the USA!
The hall was full, and such queues to the Philharmonic Hall had not been seen since pre-war times.
We sincerely congratulate the participants of this wonderful concert and thank everyone for their fruitful cooperation.
The concert was held under the support of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
