The Kyiv Art Sessions Festival of Ukrainian Art Receives International Recognition!
The cultural centre Dom Master Klass, the Art Shield foundation, and Paradox PR have been honoured with the 2025 SABRE Award for the creation and curation of the Kyiv Art Sessions festival.
The SABRE Awards (Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation, and Engagement) is one of the world’s most prestigious accolades in brand experience and communication. Projects are evaluated based on creativity, strategic vision, innovation, ethical standards, and their ability to build strong reputations.
The idea of Kyiv Art Sessions was born a year ago, as a response to the urgent need to present contemporary Ukrainian art not merely as a local phenomenon, but as a powerful voice in the global cultural dialogue.
Receiving the prestigious SABRE Awards 2025 became a symbolic culmination of this artistic journey of the year.
Over the course of 2024-2025, four major seasonal editions of the festival took place.
The inaugural summer season was held in June 2024 in London and focused on introducing modern Ukraine – its outstanding personalities, its visual and musical arts, and the stark truth of an ongoing war.
In the autumn season, October the focus shifted to the multicultural essence of Ukrainian identity – exploring Ukraine as a space where diverse nationalities and traditions coexist.
The winter season symbolized inner strength and charitable purpose. Held in February 2025, the Heat Ukraine Now charity exhibition-sale aimed to help Ukrainians survive the harsh winter under wartime conditions. 
The final spring season, held in May 2025 took a deeper look into the soul of Ukrainian culture, seeking to answer a question: What is Ukraine fighting for? 
Across the four artistic seasons, Kyiv Art Sessions presented:- 8 curated art exhibitions- 10 concerts of Ukrainian music- 8 screenings of Ukrainian films- 12 panel discussions
The festival took place in London at the symbolic venue of The Old Sessions House, as well as at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge and the University of Oxford in Oxford.
